My parents filed a chapter 7 in 2001. In 2005, my mom was in a serious accident leaving her disabled and unable to work. As a result in 2006 they lost their home to foreclosure. They are wanting to file for chapter 7 bankruptcy to rid themselves of the remainder of the medical bills and the difference they owe on their foreclosed home. Unfortunately they cannot afford an attorney and want me to file it for them. I was going to buy software online, but I was hoping someone with experience would be able to point me in the right direction. Also, how much are the filing costs for bankruptcy (chapter 7) in Ohio?
